Effective from 1 November 2017, the internal structure of the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) has been optimised and adapted to the latest developments. The new organisation takes account of the growing complexity in the area of financial market policy and international financial relations, and allows for greater flexibility.

The new organisation chart's key elements include the merger of the previous "Multilateral Affairs" and "Markets" divisions to form the new "Financial System and Markets" division and the creation of the "Policy Coordination" organisational unit. SIF's mission and staff are unchanged.
